I lost weight eating back 90% to 100% of my Fitbit Calorie adjustment, even when I have gotten over 1000 Fitbit Calorie adjustments above MFP Sedentary when I have taken over 10,000 steps. I have found that both the Fitbit Charge HR model I had previously and the Fitbit Charge 2 model I have now have provided very good estimates of my TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). In order to keep the Fitbit linked to MFP and not transfer the daily Fitbit Calorie adjustment to MFP, you will have to purchase MFP Premium to turn off adding Calories to your daily MFP Calorie Goal. It's just the question whether things I don't want to sync get synced, like calorie adjustment and workouts from Fitbit to MFP
